published!
Abi Curtis, Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing, has just had
her second poetry collection published, called The
Glass Delusion. There will be a launch event held at the
university in October with readings from the Literature team, more
details to follow.

screening!
Documentary films produced by three of our graduating Italian
students from the MA Documentary Film programme have been
selected to be screened at the International Es Terni Festival in
Umbria, Italy. Peter Cook, Senior
Lecturer in Film and Television Production will go to the festival
to represent the faculty

We have launched an online events directory for our Arts events

14/09/12 Graduate Prize at York Theatre
Royal
The Annual Graduate Theatre Prize, in conjunction with York
Theatre Royal, will take place on 8 October at the theatre.
The prize represents both organizations’ commitment to assisting
creative individuals in the post-graduation transition to
professional arts practice. The 2012 Prize winners are Rich Wade,
Joel Dean and Adam Ekin. They will perform Letters to Yseult and
Journey To Karawane, as a double bill. Tickets are £5 and
available direct from York Theatre Royal.
