Research informed

Joint Honours students benefit from the research of academic staff working in two subjects.

If you are studying History and English Literature and are interested in the Victorian period it would be possible to study modules in nineteenth century literature and Victorian history. Both modules are underpinned by staff research in those areas. Another example is students studying Film Studies and English Literature would be able to study a module in Film and the American Imagination and take a module in American literature. If you want to study Media and enjoy writing you can also study Media with Creative Writing and work with staff who are active researchers and practitioners in those areas.
