Jimmy Richards
Lecturer in Film & TV Production
Jimmy is a screenwriting specialist and
working screenwriter. He has also written for radio, corporate
videos, museums, historically based AV exhibitions, documentaries
and national newspapers. His academic interests include the
American theorists of film structure and the links between short
term memory and the three act paradigm. He co-wrote the book
‘Screenwriting’ (AVA books).
He has won awards for his screenwriting and is
currently writing a feature length black comedy for Bard
Entertainment and a ultra low budget romantic comedy which will be
filmed on location in Hull.
