Nathan Walker

Lecturer in Performance
Nathan Walker is Lecturer in Performance,
specialising in post-dramatic theatre, performance art and the
visual performance of language.
He has a background in Theatre and Fine Art,
concentrating on experimental writing and holds an MA in
Performance Writing from Dartington College of Arts, Devon.
His current research explores the relationship
between writing, collage and performance.
Through his active artistic practice Nathan
has presented performances nationally and internationally at
National Theatre Studio, London; Barbican, Plymouth; Plymouth Arts
Centre; Tramway, Glasgow; Performance Space, London; PSL Project
Space Leeds; Grace Exhibition Space, New York; & Arnolfini,
Bristol. His work has also been presented at the National Review of
Live Art and Spill Festival of Performance.
Nathan is co-founder of O U I Performance,
York. Founded in 2010 by Victoria Gray and Nathan Walker, O U I
Performance curate regional, national and international live
