Dance - Unlimited opportunities
Your
experience is enriched by a regular programme of performance trips,
on average between 2 and 3 group trips are subsidised each
semester. This enables you to view a wide variety of work in venues
regionally and nationally, recent examples include trips to:
Yorkshire Sculpture
Park, Northern School of
Contemporary Dance, York Theatre Royal,
Yorkshire
Dance and The National Review of Live Art
(Glasgow), and Siobhan Davies Studios
(London). Performances are specifically chosen to support
specialist modules and to inspire choreographic practice. Attending
performances in a variety of venues and settings ensures that you
see a range of work by new and established national and
international artists.
In addition, professional workshops are
offered throughout the year aiming to broaden students experience.
The Dance course is enriched by regular choreographic and technical
workshops and lecture demonstrations delivered by professional
choreographers and performers.
