York St John worked with the York Museums
Trust on a project linking museum objects such as Roman
hairpins and butchers tools with their modern equivalents. As part
of work based learning initiative, YSJ music production students
produced videos of the city’s hairdressers and butchers working in
Roma style.

As part of the
Hitchcock Conference on the collaboration between composer Bernard
Hermann and master film-maker Alfred Hitchcock, Head of Music
Production Ben Burrows investigated the relationship between film
and music to produce a brand new score for the Lodger, one
of Hitchcock’s early masterpieces.
