How do I get involved?

This page has information on how to get involved in the scheme as either a Buddy or a Mentee.  Simply select from the list for more information.

I would like a Buddy

If you are coming to YSJ in September 2013 and would like a Buddy then it could not be more simple.  All you have to do is e-mail buddy@yorksj.ac.uk and tell who you are and that you want a Buddy.

We will then e-mail you with further details.

Unfortunatley due to the start of the academic year still being a number of months away we cannot pair you with a Buddy straight away.  Buddies are usually allocated to incoming students in mid-August so if you request a Buddy now we will contact you at this time to inform you who your Buddy is.

If you have any questions at all about the scheme you can use the e-mail address above and we will try and contact you as soon as possible.

I would like to be a Buddy

Recruitment for September 2013 is now open for all student who will be studying at YSJ in 2013/14.

If you would like to express an interest in becoming a Buddy all you have to do is e-mail buddy@yorksj.ac.uk.  Once we have received your e-mail we will send you further information and provide you with details of the initial training event.
