The most important thing that I have
learnt through the Business Management programme at YSJ Business
School is how to understand and manage myself.
The programme allows me to develop essential
employability skills including time management skills as well as
self-motivating skills. Of course, I have developed a range of
practical skills related to business management such as
presentation techniques and how to write a formal business letter,
which are directly related to my current job as a corporate trainer
manager in Singapore.
As a business person in the global economy,
working well with various colleagues from different cultural
backgrounds and coming up with a decision in order to achieve the
shared goal is considered as a critical success factor. For
example, I had the opportunity to participant in a ‘real life’
project working together with Singaporean, Malaysian and Chinese
fellow students. Despite the fact that it has been a challenging
and time-consuming project, the outcome of the project has been
rewarding for all the team members as essential skills and
attributes were developed.
