Alan has spent sixteen years teaching and
managing within the Higher Education and Further Education
Sectors. This experience has included lecturing at Liverpool
John Moores University, Liverpool Hope University, Edge Hill
University, and the University of Chester.
Alan has held strategic and operational
responsibility for large teams of staff and substantial budgets
within two Further Education Colleges. He is experienced in
performance management, recruitment and selection, and manpower
planning.
Alan currently holds responsibility for the
management of international students, who enter York St John
Business School direct into level 2 (2nd Year) or 3
(3rd Year).
At present Alan is working on the validation
of a number of degree programmes in the UK and oversees, as well as
teaching across a range of programmes.
