Scruffy Dog Design is a creative studio in high-speed pursuit of
innovation.
We specialise in the generation of visionary
design solutions, combining excitement, loyalty and imagination to
metamorphosize an individual’s contact with routine items, space
and acquired information.
Scruffy Dog explores the tasks of
everyday life, continually questioning conventional design,
ultimately establishing the Scruffy Dog brand.
The Proof of
Concept fund helped pay for my venturefest stand and buy
some key materials. I also aimed to use it to produce a working
prototype of my most influential design, the prototyping of which
will be done over in the design block at York St John
University.
I also received help through the Create Innovate Achieve business growth
programme with CidaCo. The one to one mentoring with David Abbott,
I found really useful and the output information and material from
David was 100% beneficial and appropriate to my field.
The Proof of Concept Funding helped by:
- Putting my business on the map.
- Developing a client database.
- Selling my creative ability and talent.
Along with specialist equipment that meant I
was able to produce concept drawings, sketch’s, artist impressions
to high standard giving my clients the best I could.
