Creative Business at York St John
University, in partnership with CidaCo, is providing an
extraordinary opportunity for creative YSJ students and
graduates. We are offering a free skills
development programme for artists and creative
entrepreneurs, including one-to-one mentoring for participants.
Six modules take place
over six months and cover the key issues facing a creative
business. Each of the six workshops is followed by
a one-to-one mentoring session of approximately an
hour and a half each, pairing every participant with a specially
trained Cida Co
mentor. Each mentor brings relevant,
sector-specific knowledge, skills and networks to each
participant.

The programme comprises six
modules:
- The Creative Entrepreneur
- Knowing Your Customers and Your Competition
- All Money is Not the Same – Access to Finance
- Legal, Governance and IP
- Innovation - Sustaining and Managing Success
- Presenting Your Work, and Looking Ahead
