Diane Haigh

Partnership Development Manager

Qualifications

MA in Education Management

headshot of Diane HaighIn addition to developing and strengthening links with schools, my role of Partnership Development Manager includes coordinating the mentor training programmes at York St John University. I also work closely with tutors and students to support their understanding of the roles of those involved in School Experience. I am Link Tutor for a group of Primary schools and several SOTS (Settings other than Schools) and I am also an academic tutor.

I have taught pupils in all three Key Stages in a variety of Primary schools and have held management positions of Deputy Head and Headteacher.  In 2004, after a second Headship I made the decision to concentrate on the area of training and developing other people.

I hold an M.A. in Education Management (by research at York University) and have been fortunate to spend two months working in New York State in America as part of an ‘administrators work shadowing’ exchange programme organised by the Central Bureau.

I am a registered Consultant Leader with the National College for School Leadership and have worked on the programmes for National Professional Qualification for Headteachers (NPQH); Leading from the Middle (LftM); and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA).
