Information

Esther works part-time at York St John, where she is assistant editor of the International Journal of Public Theology http://www.brill.nl/ijpt and she is involved in a number of research projects. She holds a BD (Hons) and a PhD from the University of Aberdeen and is a John Macmurray scholar and feminist theologian. Her research spans public theology, philosophical theology, philosophy of religion, ethics and gender studies. In particular, she is concerned with the concept of the person and with the ethics of personal relations, especially in response to feminism and religious pluralism.
