Information

Imelda gained her first degree in Comparative Religion and Sociology from Goldsmith College University of London and MA in Theology & Religious Studies from Leeds University. She has taught at the University since January 2001 on the PGCE Secondary RE programme and various undergraduate modules in Theology.  She was head of the PGCE programme during the period of September 2001 to July 2002.  Prior to teaching in the University Imelda taught in a variety of Secondary schools for 20 years.  Her last position in a Secondary school was as Head of a Humanities faculty; she was also responsible for newly qualified teachers in the school and for coordinating the induction programme.
