Research interests

The use of digital audio and podcasting to encourage greater levels of trainee discussion and involvement in maths.  In what ways can dialogue/thinking aloud recorded by digital audio support student teachers’ learning and levels of confidence in teaching problem solving within primary mathematics?  The promotion of dialogic talk amongst teacher trainees and the use of Neil Mercer’s talk framework and protocol analysis to encourage self-efficacy amongst students.
