T&RS - Visiting Scholars & Visiting Professors

We welcome applications from scholars in Theology & Religious Studies who would like to spend a period of time (usually between two months and one year) with us at York St John University undertaking their own research. Visiting Research Scholars are provided with shared office space with access to computing, IT, and printing facilities, and a library card. Visiting Research Scholars are expected to make a contribution to the Institution’s programme of events during their stay. Scholars are usually postdoctoral researchers or established scholars who wish to spend their sabbatical with us. Doctoral students are not eligible to apply.
Applications should consist of a letter describing the proposed duration and timing of stay, as well as a research proposal and curriculum vitae. Applications can be made at any time.
