International Partnership with South Korea
Presbyterian College and Theological
Seminary (PCTS)
The College and attached seminary, based in Seoul, has been in
existence for over a hundred years. It is presently located on
the slopes of the A-Cha mountain overlooking the Han River in East
Seoul. It is South Korea’s first advanced theological institution
and offers a range of degree programmes from undergraduate BAs in
Theology, Education and Music through to Masters and Doctoral
programmes. It has over 50 full-time and 25 part-time staff, most
educated to doctoral level and has a student body of over 2500. It
offers a distinctive educational environment with a strong
Christian Presbyterian ethos. It has a strong reputation within
East Asia and has extensive partnerships with over 12 countries and
in excess of 30 institutions, spanning the globe, including the
USA, Germany, China, Israel and Indonesia. However, it does not
currently have a partner in the UK.
To date Presbyterian College and
Theological Seminary from Seoul and York St John University
have engaged in fact finding visits to each others institution.

University students. Please note that places are limited and
will be granted to those with the right academic profile.
