Programme in Theology & Religious Studies:  Foundation degree in Theology and Ministry

Study mode:  Full time

Study Centre:  Trinity School of Theology, Rugby

I am a 20 year old first year student at Trinity School of Theology.  I am an amateur photographer and enjoy exploring the outdoors. I enjoy music, both listening to it and also playing the drums.  I also enjoy computer games both on computers and consoles.

The blend of Theology and practical elements was a big attraction for me.  Another thing that drew me to this programme was the lecturers, as there is a balance of permanent and guest lecturers, allowing a greater insight into the practical.  As was the central location of the centre, allowing access to a number of major cities, whilst having a town feel.

Combining my ‘work & home’ life with my studies is not too difficult.  The key is managing time and recognising that more time is needed around deadlines, as long as I leave time for breaks and don’t over work myself, all is fine.

The programme is excellent, offering a good balance of theology and practice.  The staff are fantastic, offering help where ever possible, and are always available to bounce ideas off of.  They are all really supportive and help you to achieve your full potential.
