MA in Theology & Religious Studies - International Students
Before you apply
How do I apply?
Contact the YSJ International Office with
any queries about your application.

International Student information »
Who can I use for a
reference?
Your reference should be written by a suitably qualified person
e.g. academic tutor or employer. Ideally the reference should
be an academic reference - i.e. someone who can comment
on your academic work and suitability for entry to the
particular programme you are applying for. If you are having
difficulty in obtaining an academic reference (e.g. you have been
out of education for some time) then please use an employer/work
referee who can comment on your suitability for the course and any
relevant professional experience.
When can I apply?
Please note that all the overseas
students are required to study this postgraduate programme on
full time basis and therefore you will have to submit your
application in good time before the start of the academic
year in September.
Is there a closing date by which I must
submit my application?
Applications are received on an ongoing basis until the
programme has been filled.
- Full time / international applications
For full time and international applicants it is important
that applications are received as early as possible as
there would be additional factors adding time to
the admissions process (e.g. international applicants
need to take into account the time involved in acquiring a
visa).
