Module Description

This module aims to enable students to undertake a substantial piece of independent research at level M. The independent learning is supported by tutorial supervision, but students may also choose to draw upon other external resources, e.g. summer schools, series of lectures, conferences, etc. where these are available and appropriate.

Strand: Consultancy & Leadership for Mission & Ministry

Timetable: 5 Supervised Sessions over two terms

Prerequisites: None

 

Module Description

This module aims to enable students to undertake a substantial piece of independent research at level M. The independent learning is supported by tutorial supervision, but students may also choose to find other external resources, e.g. summer schools, series of lectures, conferences, etc. where these are available and appropriate. It will be supervised by York Institute for Community Theology. This module forms part of the  ‘Consultancy and Leadership for Mission and Ministry’ strand. The strand enhances the  programme by offering specific modules in a developing and growing sub-discipline of Practical Theology.
