A non-stipendiary priest in the Church of
England
"Having retired from a professional career in
environmental science, I am now serving as a non-stipendiary priest
in the Church of England, and developing my theological interests
part-time at YSJ.
I have been at YSJ since 1999 first studying
Part-time BA then Part-time MA 2006-2009 and from 2010 till now
Part-time PhD.
My previous positive experience of the BA
programme at YSJ encouraged me to choose the MA in Theology &
Religious Studies.
The programme helped me to develop personal
interests within a disciplined framework. I have appreciated
opportunities for teaching and contributing to seminars.
All in all, I found encouragement and advice
from staff who I respect the best thing about being a student at
YSJ."
