The David Hope RE Centre
The David Hope RE Centre in York is one of the major
religious education resource centres in the UK. It provides a
wealth of resources and a consultancy service for teachers and
headteachers in both faith and community schools and serves
pupils, students, faith leaders, youth workers and others involved
in religious education both within their own faith community and in
the wider community.

The 2011 Ofsted Inspection of York St John's ITE provision found
that "Trainees benefit from the on campus David Hope RE Resource
Centre which supports their training in RE as well as in wider
aspects such as Global Education and
