Code of Best Practice
York St John has
signed up to the Universities UK (UUK) Accommodation Code of
Practice, which was developed in partnership with other Higher
Education providers in York, and with the co-operation of local
landlords.
The Code of Best Practice is an important document for
those going into a student let in the private sector because it
gives you vital information about the minimum standards you should
expect from your accommodation, such as regular gas safety checks,
and details of who to contact if you have any concerns about your
rental property.
