Energy Efficiency
Energy efficiency is key to carbon reduction
on-site. A long term programme of work to improve the energy
efficiency of our facilities has been
implemented.
Programmes already completed or underway include:
- Cavity Wall Insulation;
- Draught Proofing;
- Automated Gas and Electricity metering across the estate;
- Electrical sub metering within the Lord Mayor’s Walk
Campus;
- Heating decentralisation and centralised control system (phase
1).
Future projects
will include:
- Further heating decentralisation;
- Lighting improvements;
- Renewable energy installation.
