Annual Health and Safety Reports
The Health & Safety Officer produces an Annual Health and
Safety Report providing an overview of Health and Safety
performance and developments over the previous academic year.
A significant part of this is an assessment of our current
standard against the agreed Key Performance Indicators (or ‘KPIs’)
for Health & Safety, and where possible the Report also
includes benchmarking against sector data and statistics, including
those provided by the higher education sector across the UK through
the Universities Safety & Health Association or ‘USHA’.
The Annual Report is considered and agreed by the Strategic
Leadership Team, the Health & Safety Committee and received by
the Governing Body at the November meeting of each year.
