Safety for Students
All staff are committed to improving the health,
safety and welfare of our student community. As well as the
Health & Safety Team there are a number of others who play a
key part in ensuring the health, safety and welfare of our
student community including:
Every student is also supported by the teaching and
administrative staff of their particular Faculty who are
responsible for student safety within taught activity. Faculty
staff are always available to provide advice and assistance.
The Health & Safety Team are particularly involved in
aspects such as fire safety. All new students coming to our
residences are required to read
the Student Health & Safety Guide as well as to
watch the fire safety 'Stay safe at uni' dvd .
