Portering Service
The University Porters are on
duty at the following times:
MONDAY to FRIDAY 07:00 to
21:00
SATURDAY 08:00 to
14:00
The Portering team provide a range of
services to the University community including:
- Room set ups (click here for
form, but ensure all requests are submitted via the Facilities
Helpline)
- Internal and external mail service
- Waste and recycling including confidential waste disposal
- Key issues and replacement
- Some minor works in rooms such as changing light
bulbs
Forms for hiring transport (i.e. coaches, hire cars or
taxis) can be accessed here.
Please note, these need to be returned to the Facilities Admin team
once completed.
To book a service from the Porters please
complete a request via the Facilities
Helpline system. Please assist the Portering Service by
giving as much detail as possible on the nature of the job, and
remember to give plenty of notice as jobs are carried out in order
of priority
