How to pay your Tuition Fees

All students are presented with a list of payment options during the enrolment process at the start of the academic year. However, if for any reason you have not secured your payment option at enrolment you can make a payment via epayment page

 

Full Time Home / EU Students

Tuition Fee Loan

If you have applied for a tuition fee loan, Student Finance England (SFE) will inform the University of the amount of the loan you have applied for and show any outstanding balance you have to pay.

If the University has not yet been informed of your loan from SFE at the time of your enrolment do not worry. Select the option 'I have applied for a tuition fee loan from SFE/SAAS', this will enable you to complete your enrolment process.

 

Direct Debit (Full Time Students only)

A Direct Debit will take money from your nominated bank account.  You will be notified by email 10 days prior to collection to enable you to make funds available.  To set up a direct debit you will need to know your Account Number (this is not the same as your Card Number) and your Sort Code.

For your convenience we offer you 2 instalments, the due dates for 2013/14 are:

1st Instalment 17 October 2013                
2nd Instalment 7 January 2014

 

Payment by card in full

You are able to make a secure payment by card to complete your enrolment process.

 

Payment by card in Installments

 

1st Installment At enrolment
2nd Installment 7 May 2014

If this option is chosen please note the advance notices will be sent to your YSJ email account.

 

Cheque

Payments by cheque can be made either in person at the Finance Counter or by post to:
The Finance Department, York St John University, Lord Mayors Walk, York, YO31 7EX

Please make cheques payable to York St John University

If you are paying by cheque, Your Enrolment status will be pending until we receive your cheque.

 

Cash

Payments by cash can only be made under special circumstances. If you are paying by cash, Your Enrolment status will be pending until we receive your monies.  If you would like to arrange to pay by cash, please ring the Finance Department on any of the contact telephone numbers.

 

Part Time Home / EU Students

Instalments

Please contact the Finance office to arrange to pay in instalments.  Your enrolment will remain incomplete until arrangements have been made and approved by a finance member of staff.

 

Payment by card

You are able to make a secure payment by card to complete your enrolment process.

 

Sponsor

You will need to provide evidence from your sponsor that they are responsible for paying your fees before your enrolment can be completed.

 

Cheque

International Students

Full Time International Students starting in 2013/14 (Non EU)

You are required to pay your fees in 2 separate instalments.  The first instalment must be made as a deposit before you can receive an unconditional offer of study.

The second instalment must be paid at Enrolment by Card Payment.  If your are paying by cash or cheque, your Enrolment status will be pending until we receive your payment.

 

Full Time International Students continuing in 2013/14 (Non EU)

You can pay your fees in one go or in 2 separate instalments by Automatic Card Payment as part of your re-enrolment process.  Your second instalment is due

  • 7 January 2014 for students commencing their course in September
  • 7 May 2014 for students commencing their course in January
