At York St John, you will be taught by a
dynamic teaching team of experienced physiotherapists and other
health professionals with a diverse range of expertise and research
interests. You will complete a number of practice placements
throughout each year of your programme, allowing you to gain
experience of working with patients/clients in a variety of
practice settings under the supervision of qualified
practitioners.
Our physiotherapy programmes are approved by
the Health & Care Professions Council
(HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
(CSP). Successful completion of the BHSc Hons Physiotherapy will give you
eligibility to apply for registration with the HPC, and for full
membership of the CSP.
High standards of professionalism will be
expected throughout your programme, and student membership of the
CSP is supported.
UK physiotherapy qualifications are welcomed
abroad and physiotherapists are able to work in most countries
(subject to necessary registration).
