Staff Development Induction

First day

If we haven't already done so, we need to check your right to work in the UK. You'll have received information about what you need to bring with you in your offer of employment, but if you're not sure ring us on 01904 876436/6955 or come to the HR office in New Wing so we can take a copy of your documents for our records. We can also answer any other work-related questions you might have.

How do I get a staff card?

Following your arrival your mentor will bring you to HR so that we can issue a copy of your staff ID card, as well as being your staff identification this will give you access to the Library.

This will also give you the opportunity to provide any requested documents that you have not already forwarded to us.  It would also be helpful to visit our Payroll department to provide your P45 if you have not previously done so.
