Removing Proxy Settings From Your Computer

There is no longer any need to configure a proxy server on the residences network. This should make setting up your internet connection easier, more reliable and increase the compatibility with applications.

If you configured a YSJ proxy in the past, your connection will continue to work as they are still available to use. However should you wish to remove them this guide is to help you do so.

It is your personal preference if you choose to use a proxy, for most people removing them will give the best functionality and reliability. However some software applications may require one. Since every application is different please consult your help documentation.
