Teaching Desktop

Welcome to the New Teaching Desktop

A lot of effort has been made to ensure the new desktop is easy to use for all users of the university.

 

Step 1

Turn it on.

Press the Power button on the front of the unit if it is not already turned on. The power light will turn from orange to blue.

Turn on Zero

Step 2

Log in.

Fill in the login box with your university username and password.

Step 3

Locate your presentation media.

The following resources can be accessed

on this client device:

  1. My documents and shared network drives.
  2. USB Drives can be plugged into the ports on the side of the device.
  3. Data DVDs and CDs can be read using the provided drive.*
  4. Email can be accessed via the internet.
  5. Web Resources such as YouTube can all be accessed via the web browser.

*It is recommended you Play DVD movies back on the DVD players for the best performance.

Plug USB devices in before you log in to give the system a chance to detect your drive.
