Microsoft Lync provides the University with a
powerful Unified Communications solution that enables staff and
students to interact, communicate and collaborate on a whole new
level. Microsoft Lync delivers complete Presence, Instant
Messaging, Conferencing and Enterprise Voice Capabilities through a
single, easy-to-use interface that is consistent across PC,
browser, and mobile device.
Another great feature of Lync is its
ability to let non-YSJ users participate
in all of the above services.
What's Lync?
The Lync client software is installed on all Staff & Student
PC's across campus but it is also available for YSJ users to
