Getting started

The catalogue contains records for most material held in the library, including print journals, eBooks, DVDs and CDs, as well as full-text articles from journals we subscribe to.

Other tools

  • The eJournal Finder lists all of the electronic journals the library provides access to. You can access full text articles with this tool. You should use this tool if you know the title of the electronic journal you're looking for.
  • The library subscribes to many databases which provide access to abstracts, full-text articles and resources on a wide variety of subjects. You should use this tool if you're searching for journal articles or resources by topic or subject.
  • We are building reading lists on the library catalogue. You will find these linked from Moodle, or you can search or browse for lists on the subject reading lists page.
  • eBooks can be searched for and accessed through the catalogue. Watch the online demonstration for help.

Full text or abstracts only?

  • Some journal articles are available full text - this means the full article can be retrieved online
  • Some journal articles are abstracts only
