Keeping records

It is extremely important to note down all the references for the sources you use for your assignments as you work. The following tips should be useful:

  • While you work, have handy any device in which you can keep notes, whether an electronic device, notebook or a set of index cards. Note the full details of each source you use.  Don’t forget to do this for web pages too!

  • Put a hold on items for which you did not make a note, or which you need to consult again, if those items are on loan.
