Returning Items

How do I return items to the library?

  • When we are open, return your items at the self-return machines on the ground floor of the Learning Centre
  • When we are closed, return your items to the returns bins just inside the main entrance on the ground floor of the Learning Centre

Exceptions

  • if you are returning magnetic media (eg: video tapes): take these to the Question Point as the self-issue machines will damage them
  • if you are returning large or bulky items: take these to the Question Point as they don't fit in the self-issue machines
  • Artefact Kits cannot be returned when we are closed

What happens if I return items late?

Fines are charged at the following rates for overdue items:

Loan period Fine rate
