SPORTDiscus
Produced by the Sport Information Resource Centre (SIRC) and
hosted by Ebsco, SPORTDiscus indexes and abstracts journal
articles, books and book chapters, reports, conference proceedings
etc. from 1800 onwards in the following fields: sports medicine,
exercise physiology, biomechanics, physical education, training
techniques. SPORTDiscus indicates whether or not we hold the
journal articles in the library or if we have access to them
electronically by displaying the following message alongside
articles which are available:

Academic OneFile provides access to full-text articles in the
physical sciences, technology, medicine, management, social
sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects; also
full text of UK newspapers. This includes articles about sport and
sport psychology.
Index to articles in 300 British published education
periodicals. Also provides a separate author index. Coverage
includes articles in the Times Educational Supplement and the Times
Higher Education Supplement. If you are interested in physical
education, this index provides useful references.
Indexes and abstracts nursing and related health literature,
especially periodical articles from 1982, hosted by Ebsco (same
host as SPORTDiscus). Detailed indexing of 300 periodicals with
2,600 other sources given partial coverage. US material tends to
predominate, but British publications are also covered.
Indexes and abstracts educational publications of all types,
mainly those produced in the US. If you are interested in the
