- The Economist is a leading
business and news magazine. They have some excellent online
resources, including audio and
video. They also have interesting publications
you can buy.
- The BBC’s Business and Money news
service. Go to BBC news and click
- Dragons' Den is a popular programme in which
business people make presentations to successful entrepreneurs in
the hope of getting investment for their companies. You can
borrow series 1 and 2 of Dragons' Den on DVD from the Language Support library. Or you can look
at clips online: (1) go to the BBC homepage and search for
"Dragons' Den"; (2) you could also search YouTube for “Dragons'
Den” or (3) you can go to BBC iPlayer (online TV
& radio service) and search for programmes.
- The Apprentice is
a reality TV show in which young people compete for a job with a
famous entrepreneur’s company. There is a similar
show where the competitors are teenagers. You

Line An excellent business discussion programme in which
business leaders talk about management issues. This page also
has nice video clips of individual business leaders giving advice -
