Courses for Teachers
York St John University offers a range of
exciting short courses for language teachers who want to develop
their skills and enliven their teaching. These courses are usually
developed for a particular group, but if we are running an open
course we will list details on this page.
Our teaching facilities are state-of-the-art
and our learning environment is relaxed and supportive, enabling
you to reflect, to share experiences with other teachers and to
develop a creative approach to your teaching.
Whilst our trainers are academics, they are
also practising teachers, each with a wealth of practical
experience gained through teaching and training in many different
teaching environments all over the world. Their aim is to help you
develop within your own teaching context.
Our courses are essentially practical,
enabling you to return to your teaching refreshed and with new
ideas, techniques and ready-to-use materials that are sure to make
a difference to your teaching.
