Acquisitions & Disposal Policy
The Archive is responsible for the management of
the University's archive collection, and for the provision of a records
management service to administrative and academic departments.
The University's Archive Collection
The collection of historical archives relates to
the history of the University and personalities and activities associated
with it.
The University's Records Management Service
The
University Archive operates a records management service for the University's
Administrative and Academic departments. This comprises retention
and retrieval of non-current records required for administrative
and legal purposes, and appraisal and selection of key record series
for permanent retention.
Acquisition
policy : to strengthen existing collections on the history of the
institution and its background, including relevant biographical
material and other material relating to the history of education,
particularly Church colleges.

Photocopying & photography by arrangement
It is possible to view
any of the documents held in the Archive. To do so, it is necessary
to apply to the Archivist by completing a requisition form. These
can be acquired from the Archivist on request.
