National Association for Language Development in the Curriculum (NALDIC)

LIdIA hosted a meeting of the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Interest Group. The event, organised by Clare Cunningham and chaired by Dianne Excell comprised eight presentations, concluding with a paper by Dr Chris Hall and Dr Rachel Wicaksono entitled: A ‘plurilithic’ approach to English: Implications for EAL in UK schools.


Storytelling: A focus for impact in the teaching/research interface

A workshop for researchers/teachers, which was led by Dr Sali Tagliamonte (Department of Linguistics, University of Toronto), presenting an experiential learning course developed for research-informed teaching and the cultivation of research impact.
