Concepts of creative assessment

Professor Susan Orr was a C4C CETL funded research fellow at York St John University. Susan's research fellowship explored students' experiences of creative practice group work assessment. As part of this research Susan interviewed a wide range of undergraduate students. These clips showcase edited extracts from a selection of these interviews.

In these clips students studying BA Performance, BA Literature and BA Film and TV Production (specialist and joint honours) talk about the benefits and challenges of group work assessment. In their responses there is a particular focus on group work in the context of creative collaboration.

These clips can be used for staff development purposes on academic practice programmes for new lecturers. In addition, these clips can be used to support new students who want to explore and discuss group work before they embark on these projects themselves.
