Pedagogic Research

Pedagogic Research

An important focus of Learning and Teaching Development is to understand the effectiveness of teaching, learning and assessment practices through a systematic research process that will further shape our academic practices. To help achieve this Learning and Teaching Development team actively supports staff in pedagogic research by encouraging engagement in the following opportunities:

  • Writing Retreat sessions
  • Collaborative University Pedagogic Research project
  • Membership in Collaborative Action Research Network (CARN)
  • Support for individual pedagogic research and evaluation projects.

The Breakfast Café meetings are organised by CARN staff members on a monthly basis. The discussions usually focus on sharing experiences and outcomes of action research projects from across the University. Click here to find out the date of the next session.
