Learning, Teaching & Assessment Strategy

Learning,Teaching and Assessment Strategy

Our aim is to ensure that the Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA) Strategy 2012-15 is a living document that promotes the development of exceptional learning and teaching practices. The Strategy encourages all those involved with teaching and learning to think creatively about their pedagogic practices. It provides a focus for forward thinking about many aspects of learning, teaching and assessment. The Learning and Teaching Development team offers support in helping staff to consider how the LTA Strategy can be used as a catalyst for change in the following ways:

  • Consideration of the strategy in the review and revalidation of programmes, and the writing of a programme specific LTA strategy
  • Review and reflection on the strategy from a subject or faculty perspective to identify themes or priorities for development
  • Support with achieving the objectives of the strategy.
