YSJ CPD Framework Workshops
In response to the external and internal
requirements for us to evidence the quality of teaching and
learning, we are now able to offer staff the opportunity to gain
recognition as an Associate Fellow, Fellow, Senior Fellow or
Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy through our
internal professional dialogic assessment route. Dialogic
assessment is conducted as a joint and mutually supportive
activity. The aim is to work in collaboration to explore
professional practice through structured, cumulative questioning
and discussion – a reflective journey to consensus. The assessment
process provides assurance of the individual’s achievement of the
relevant descriptor of the UK Professional Standards Framework and
provides a learning experience in itself.
If you think dialogue is not for you, there is
an alternative internal paper route.
The Introduction Workshops providing more

- Tuesday, 14 January 12.30-13.30 (DG/127)
