York St John University is committed to
exceptional learning and teaching, as it underpins an exceptional
student experience. Learning and Teaching Development aims to
recognise those individuals who develop their learning and teaching
expertise to help achieve this aim.
Senior Teaching Fellows were awarded to
individuals within each of our four Faculties and who are
subsequently supported to take forward a significant teaching and
learning project designed to meet the needs of the Faculty. The
Senior Teaching Fellows are expected to demonstrate leadership
within their Faculty learning and teaching developments and
to work collaboratively with each other in support of
University learning and teaching goals.
The purpose of the YSJ Teaching Fellow scheme
is to reward and recognise the work of individual staff members for
their contribution to the enhancement of teaching and/or supporting
student learning and to their contribution to meeting the learning
and teaching goals of the Faculty/Department and
University.
e-Pedagogy Fellowships are awarded to
individual staff members for their contribution to enhancing
learning, teaching and assessment with a particular focus on the
use of technology in those enhancement activities.
The next round of applications for Teaching Fellowships
will be in May 2013. The deadline for applications is 13 May
2013. For further information, please visit our University Teaching Fellows page.
