Transferring institutions

Some students find themselves in a position where they need to transfer to another institution, there can be many reasons for this.  If you have an institution in mind, it is important you contact them first to identify whether or not they have a place to offer you.  If you know you wish to change institutions but are unsure what other institutions may offer the course you are interested in, our Careers & Employability Team can always assist you with this.

If you do choose to transfer, you will need to visit the Student Advice Desk in Holgate and speak to a member of staff from the Registry Team who will be able to provide you with guidance on the process you will need to follow.

You may also wish to first read the document  Student Financial Regs 2012-13 so you are aware of the implications with regards to payment of your tuition fees.

To discuss the implications with regards to your funding, please contact the Student Funding Advice Team on 01904 87(6939/6536) or email fundingadvice@yorksj.ac.uk
