If you still want to start a degree this year, it’s not too late! Kathrin Treacy, who studied English Literature at York St John University, said:

“Finishing 6th form was a scary time for me. After six university rejections I was starting to worry that I would not have the opportunity to study English Literature. When the clearing lines opened I telephoned York St John University and I explained my situation. I gave my grades and was offered a place there and then - I was overjoyed and accepted! The members of staff were really friendly, helpful and made Clearing easy for me. I was really glad that I got a place at York St John University. I got a chance to study many modern texts and my tutors where really approachable. I have now gone on to study a part-time MA at York St University and I am also working part-time as a Marketing Assistant”.

This year York St John University in the heart of the city of York has programmes including Design Practice, Communications & Culture, English Language & Linguistics, Theology & Religious Studies, Music and English Literature to name a few.
