York St John University offers a vibrant suite of practice-based taught postgraduate programmes in the creative arts. These Master programmes are designed for practitioner orientated study and research, providing you with the opportunity to develop your creative practice and reflective thinking within a supportive community of artists and a robust culture of enquiry.

Our MA programmes each share elements of delivery, providing you with opportunities for cross-disciplinary awareness, practices and collaboration. The postgraduate programme also hosts an active series of lunchtime artists' talks and visiting lecturers, with previous speakers including Andre Stitt, Gary Winters, Adrian Howells, Tim Wheeler and Mat Fraser among others. As a result York St John University's postgraduate creative practice programmes offer a unique opportunity to work in a cross-disciplinary and practice-based environment.
