Why study Strategic Human Resource Management?
This programme has been specifically designed to
offer you the opportunity to become critically aware of the
holistic nature and role of human resources in the modern business
environment. The focus is on the strategic input that human
resource management (HRM) has in the current global economy. You
will tackle such issues as diversity, reward and performance,
managing culture and the HRM role in leading change. We also offer
you the opportunity to put your developing skills to the test in a
‘live’ project, as team members working with the MBA students. The

What qualifications do I need to apply?
Candidates for entry to this programme must
I. UK/EU students will be able to enter the
programme directly in accordance with University entry requirements
for MA programmes (a first degree achieved at Class 2:2 or above
from an approved University or Institution) or
possess an equivalent qualification.
II. In addition to the qualifications above,
non-UK/EU students whose first language is not English will be
required to achieve IELTS 6 or above with no less than Band 6 in
writing skills, or equivalents accepted by the University.
